Defeating rival cult leaders is necessary to ensure the player’s cult succeeds. Part of the game involves combat with non-believers of your cult. The player can also train the followers to explore and embark on quests. It involves a good amount of exploring, as the player will have to find new resources and followers to grow the cult. Additionally, each weapon can be upgraded with a more powerful Heavy Attack in the Crown Upgrades.Īs you level up your Cult leader's abilities at the Temple Altar, you'll unlock new weapon modifiers that change the way a weapon behaves, giving you an edge in your future Crusade runs.
